The travel to different destinations attracts cursed items from the multiple people on board bringing back 'souvenirs.' These items can hold hungry parasites or be a portal to another dimension.
Lastly, not to point fingers, but some of this wealth was created with ill intentions from the dark side. Generation wealth and items pertaining to these superyachts can hold vampiric master demons that follow generations of family members and family assets. Example: The Girmaldis.
